Louder Than War, a U.K.-based rock news and review website, gave the Woodies’ first show in London, England a glowing review.
It was an October show the boys played with Jonathan Byrd at The Green Note.
Writes reviews editor Craig Chaligne of the show: “The Woodies are an excellent band with guitarist Chris Bennet shining with some tasty solos and colouring the songs with subtle touches (in a way not too dissimilar to Mike Campbell on Tom Petty’s songs).
“Hopefully they will be back on these shores soon.” Indeed, they will be!
